ABOUT THE AUTHOR & ILLUSTRATOR

Brenna Lee is a Southern California graphic designer and creative, passionate about producing beautiful, functional, and meaningful work that connects with others. From a young age, Brenna has always had a love for creating. Whether she was drawing, painting, or redecorating a room, the art of design was always present. While studying graphic design in college, Brenna quickly realized that her true passion was creating work that powerfully communicates with others and helps them feel seen and understood.

Brenna's dream of writing a children's book finally became a reality when she combined her love of illustration with her aptitude for empathetic yet humorous storytelling in her senior capstone course. Her debut book, which she wrote and illustrated, quickly developed into a colorful cast of characters that showcase the many tropes of childhood while aiding in growth and learning. 

As an emergent graphic designer and author, Brenna continues to create work that inspires and connects with others. Whether designing a logo for a new client or illustrating a character for her next project, Brenna's goal is always to create something that speaks to people deeply and meaningfully.
